The "National" license in detail

Is the National license right for your project? In this article, we have laid out the Terms of Sales of the Production license and give you some concrete project examples to help you understand the National license.

A National license grants you the following rights:

The National license includes the rights of the Standard license, namely:

• Modify or adapt the track to synchronize it with the below mentioned projects.
• You can NOT modify the work itself (e.g. remix the track, add lyrics to the track).
• Synchronize one track with one video or audio content that is published online.

Furthermore, the National license includes the rights to:

• Synchronize the track with audio content for national radio
• Synchronize the track in mobile application, allowing downloads/usage within the country only.
• Excluding international downloads/usage.
• Synchronize the track with any project nationally broadcasted/performed in public

The national license cannot be used for any of the following purposes, an updated license type is required in such cases.

• Synchronize the track with a project that is broadcasted on radio*.
• Synchronize the track in a mobile application/Video Games*.
• Synchronize the track with any project that is broadcast or performed in public*.
• Synchronize the track with a project that is broadcasted on TV/Cinema/Video Streaming.
• Synchronize the track with a project that is distributed on physical copies.

*This specifies that commercial and broadcasting usage is restricted to national boundaries and is not permitted internationally.
